In this video we see how to change the glove box of the Volkswagen Golf MK5: the first thing to do is to disconnect the battery, because we will have to disconnect the airbag switch, and the air hose; then we will remove six screws, three inside the glove box and three below it. We will then remove the side panel of the dashboard thickness, and the finish of the lining. A seventh screw is located laterally, between the ashtray and the heating dial. The glove boxes of this car are easily found online, with prices ranging from 55 to 70 euros. In order to not have to change the key, the youtuber prefers to keep the door of the glove box, so we can follow his method to remove it from the guides and recover it and then reassemble it on the replacement one. All that's left is to put it back in place, reconnecting the airbag switch and the air hose, then put back all seven screws that we had previously disconnected.
