In this video, see how to remove the glove compartment from a fifth-generation Volkswagen Golf. First, get inside the car and use a plastic lever to remove the side panel of the glove compartment; then open the glove compartment and remove all the screws found at the top and bottom of it. At this point, remove the glove compartment by disconnecting the electrical connector for the interior light and the various cables; follow the video to the end for complete disassembly! For reassembly, simply apply the reverse procedure.
