Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Volkswagen Golf. Begin by opening the glove compartment on the driver's side. Next, unclipping and remove the compartment itself.

This will give you access to the fuse box. Proceed to extract the cigarette lighter fuse from its housing. Once this step is completed, the disassembly will be finished.

To fit the new fuse and reassemble the glove compartment on the driver's side, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
