The fuse for the cigarette lighter on a Volkswagen Golf mk5 is located inside the fuse box, behind the passenger side glove compartment. The fuse in question is numbered 20 and rated at 15 Amperes. It is important to replace the fuse with one of the same amperage to avoid damage to the socket and the control unit. If the socket does not function, in addition to the fuse, check the connector's operation. The cigarette lighter fuse is split into two parts. The second part is numbered 42 and rated at 15 Amperes, located inside the fuse box in the engine compartment.

How to Repair the Key Spring of the Peugeot 207?
