Volkswagen Vento - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Vento MK 1, A3 - Years 1991-1998
Part: Diesel filter
Operation: Disassembly and replacement of the diesel filter

The diesel filter is located on the front right, between the shock absorber holder and the air filter housing. For convenience, it is advisable to remove the tube that connects the air filter to the intake manifold, releasing the fastening clamps with needle nose pliers. Using the same pliers, extract the fixing pin of the rear pipes and extract them from the relative filter seat. Loosen the fastening clamps of the other pipes connected to the filter pipettes and unhook them from the filter itself. Unscrew the screw of the filter support clamp and extract it from its seat. Then fit the new filter (taking care to position it correctly with respect to the fuel inlet and outlet pipes) and tighten the fixing clamp. Reconnect the pipes to the filter in the correct position by reapplying the split pin and the fixing clamps. Finally reassemble the air intake pipe previously removed.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
