Model: Volkswagen Vento MK 1, A3 - Years 1991-1998
Part: Shock absorbers
Operation: Replacement of front shock absorbers

Place the car on a lift and, after opening the front hood, spray the release spray on the shock absorber stem fixing nut; then proceed with the disassembly of the same, keeping the stem with the relative hexagonal key. Then lift the car and proceed with the disassembly of the front wheel; apply a jack under the suspension wishbone to support it when removing the shock absorber. Then remove the pins fixing the shock absorber to the wheel hub and, before extracting it from its seat, disconnect the brake oil pipe. Once the shock absorber has been extracted, proceed in reverse order to install the new one complete with spring.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
