Let's understand the exact sequence of commands to press, to reset the Service light in the Volkswagen Passat b8. However, we should only do this after verifying which maintenance tasks need to be performed due to the mileage reached, and actually go ahead and perform them, in order to avoid damaging the vehicle. Here is the sequence: turn on the instrument panel, press the multifunction button on the right side of the steering wheel to access the Settings, choose the Service option, turn off the aforementioned panel, hold down the Reset button while turning the panel back on and when asked if you want to proceed with resetting the light, confirm with the Ok button.
