Learn how to remove the third brake light on a Volkswagen Touareg: open the tailgate, then remove the plastic cap with a screwdriver or lever; unscrew the screws inside. Once the light unit is free from any constraints, disconnect it from the spoiler (unplug the relevant power connectors) and replace the bulbs. Finally, refit the new light unit: connect the power connector, insert the light unit into the tailgate (after fitting the bulbs), and screw in the securing bolts. Test the correct operation of the lights.
