In order to remove the wording "Component protection active" on the Volkswagen Polo car radio, you will need to turn on the instrument panel, so that the screen in the center of the dashboard is also turned on: once the car radio is activated, you can hold down the circular power button to ensure that the device is completely turned off. After a few seconds, you will notice that the screen will turn off and can be turned back on by pressing the same button again: this way the "Component protection active" message will be removed.
