How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Taos?

The Service light can be completely erased from the Volkswagen Taos instrument panel by turning on the instrument panel, inserting the ignition key into the corresponding slot: once the panel has been turned on, you will need to navigate to the menu to select the "Distance/time" option. At this point, you will need to press the menu button located on the right side of the steering wheel for about ten seconds: once this interval has passed, you will need to release the button to access the menu. Now you will need to select the "Reset inspection" option to make the light disappear.
