Today we will explain how to start the Volkswagen Taos engine when the key is not working. The key may stop functioning due to: a failure to reprogram after the battery replacement or because the remote control battery is dead. To start the vehicle, you need to press the start button and place the remote control near the vehicle's start sensor. When the warning lights on the dashboard turn on, simply press the brake and accelerator pedals to start the vehicle as usual. If there are further issues, you will need to go to a workshop for a computerized diagnosis.
