Volkswagen Golf 5: where to find the fuse diagram in the engine compartment.

On the Volkswagen Golf 5, the fuse diagram for the engine compartment is printed directly on a plastic cover. To locate it, open the hood and focus on the area around the battery: next to it is the main fuse block, which contains various maxi-fuses and relays. In front of the battery, there is a rectangular plastic cover that seals the top of the compartment; it needs to be lifted by pulling it upwards to release it from its fittings. Once this cover is removed, you will find the diagram with the arrangement of the fuses and the corresponding labels for the various electrical devices in the engine compartment on the inner side. This way, by placing the cover in a readable position, you can compare the numbering on the box with the corresponding diagram and quickly identify the fuse to check or replace on your Golf 5.
