How do you reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

It is possible to completely make the Service light disappear from the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Tiguan by activating the instrument panel, turning the ignition key in the designated slot: once it is turned on, you can navigate through the menu using the button on the right lever of the steering wheel until you find "Settings." By selecting it with the button located below the lever, you can proceed by selecting "Service" and then "Reset": this way, the Service light will completely disappear from the panel, which can then be turned off by removing the key.
