How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Tiguan?

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Tiguan, press and hold the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the instrument panel while it is off. Continue holding the button and insert the ignition key into the ignition switch, turning it to power on the instrument panel. A confirmation message will appear where you need to select "OK" using the appropriate control on the right side of the steering wheel. This will correctly reset the Service light, and you can then turn off the instrument panel.
