How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Tiguan?

The Service light that appears on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Tiguan can be reset with the ignition on. Next, press and hold the 0.0 button located at the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding it down, press the button that starts the car: this will display a message on the screen asking if you really want to reset the Service light. Pressing the 0.0 button again will correctly reset the light, and you can verify that the reset has occurred; finally, you can turn off the ignition with the button.
