The video shows us a problem: opening and driving a Volkswagen ID4 with a dead remote. First, we need to unlock the door with the physical emergency key that is located inside the remote and can be extracted by pressing the button on the side of the remote itself. The physical lock is located on the driver's handle, hidden by a plastic cover. We insert the physical key into the lock and open the door. Now we insert the dead remote into the designated spot for this function: it is usually found on the center console, near the electric handbrake. We press the start button and the car will start anyway; if it doesn't start, it means the remote is not positioned correctly.
