When the battery of the Volkswagen ID 4 remote control is dead, accessing the vehicle may seem impossible, but in reality, using the emergency key makes it easy. To access the car, we first need to remove the cover of the lock located next to the door handle.

After that, we remove the top part of the remote control to access the metal emergency key contained inside. We insert the key into the lock and turn it counterclockwise to unlock the door.

To start the engine, we need to insert the metal key into the remote control and place the remote control as close as possible to the ignition switch so that the vehicle can recognize the remote control's ID and start the vehicle.
