In this video, we will see step-by-step instructions for removing and replacing the 12V battery in the Volkswagen ID.4. First, open the bonnet of your car and start by removing the plastic cover located above the battery, disconnecting the windscreen washer pipe as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the nuts from the terminals of the electrical wiring found above the battery; once the control unit is removed, disconnect the connectors (positive and negative) to take out the old battery and replace it with a new one (of the same amperage).
