How to disassemble the control unit of the Volkswagen Polo 1.4

In this short guide, we will see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the engine control unit of the Volkswagen Polo 1.4. First of all, we open the hood of the car and start by disconnecting both battery terminals (positive and negative); we find the engine control unit behind the battery, where we will disconnect the electrical wiring and unscrew the fixing screws, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove the control unit, either repairing it or replacing it directly; we reassemble and connect the engine control unit, finally connecting the battery as well.
