How to Use the Climatronic on the Volkswagen Tiguan

Let’s look at the functions of the climatronic on the Volkswagen Tiguan and other similar models like the Golf 7, Passat, and Touran: you can set different temperatures for the right and left sides, while the "sync" button unifies the temperature for the entire cabin. There are dedicated buttons for controlling air flows (windscreen, chest, feet) and a button for air recirculation. On the left dial, there is a button for demisting the windscreen and for demisting the rear window. The "auto" button automatically adjusts the fan speed and air flows to maintain the set temperature, while for manual control, you will need to turn the central dial to adjust the fan speed. On the infotainment system, pressing "menu" accesses advanced options, allowing you to adjust the temperature for the rear zone, with a children’s option to disable the rear controls; you can choose the ventilation profile, between automatic, gentle, or intense; the automatic recirculation activates if the sensor detects polluted external air. Among the quick functions, there is "max AC" useful for rapidly cooling after a stop in the sun.
