How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Sharan?

Model: Volkswagen Sharan MK 1, 7M - Years 1995-2010

You can clear the service light from the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Sharan by pressing the button located at the bottom right of the cluster while it is off. While holding it down, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to power on the cluster. Once it is on, rotate the button located on the left side of the cluster; this will cause the service light to disappear, and the cluster can then be turned off.
