You can completely remove the service light from the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Sharan by holding down the 0.0/SET button located on the right side of the cluster. Once the cluster is powered on, a message will appear asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval. By selecting "Yes" using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel, the maintenance interval will be reset; you can also confirm that the service light has been completely cleared by turning off and on the display.
