Where is the OBD Socket Fuse on a Volkswagen Golf IV?

The fuse for the operation of the diagnostic socket or OBD port is located inside the fuse box situated in the cabin, specifically behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. The fuse in question is labelled F 12 and has an amperage of 7.5 A. To replace it, open the fuse box and extract the damaged fuse using needle-nose pliers; then insert a new fuse into the socket, ensuring it has the same amperage. After replacing, close the fuse box and test the operation of the socket.
