How to Install Folding Mirrors on a Volkswagen Touran

Let's see how to install folding mirrors on a Volkswagen Touran. The procedure for each door is as follows: remove the cover from the door handle; unscrew the 2 T30 screws under the cover, then the 2 T20 screws at the bottom of the door. Unclip the 6 clips holding the door panel. Pull towards you and then upwards. Disconnect the wires and the handle cable (note the positions to reconnect them correctly). Replace the control panel with the new one (which has the folding button); unscrew the mirror screws (you will need an assistant to hold it while you unscrew); disconnect the connector and green clip from the door; install the new mirror, routing the wires in the original position. Tighten well and check the seal. Replace the module/servomotor in the door (unscrew the T20 screws and pull towards you, then screw back in).
