How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Golf 4

To completely clear the service light displayed on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Golf 4, hold down the button located at the bottom right of the instrument panel while it is off: while continuing to hold this button, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to power on the panel. At this point, you can release the button on the right and turn the button on the left clockwise: by doing this, the light will disappear and you can turn off the panel.
