How to Replace the Bulbs in the Front Headlight of a Volkswagen Golf Mk4

How do you replace the bulbs located in the front headlight of a Volkswagen Golf Mk4? Open the front bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard, and secure it with the prop rod. Find the inspection cap of the headlight (at the rear of the headlight) and remove it (remove the air intake kit or battery if space is minimal). Pull the bulb holders out of the headlight and extract the damaged bulbs using a screwdriver. Fit the new bulbs (ensuring they are the correct type and size) and insert the bulb holders back into the headlight housing. Reassemble all previously removed parts.
