To completely remove the front headlight from the Volkswagen Golf, you need to loosen the screws that secure the bumper to its housing: you must unscrew the screws accessible from the top by opening the bonnet, from the bottom of the bumper, and from inside the front wheel arches. Once the bumper has been completely removed from its housing, you can proceed to loosen the screws that secure the headlight unit in place. You will need to disconnect the connectors inside to insert the new headlight unit.
