How to Reset the Oil Change Light on a Volkswagen Polo TSI

Here’s how to reset the service light on a Volkswagen Polo 1.2 TSI: the vehicle must be off, and you need to press and hold the trip button on the instrument panel. While holding the button, turn on the ignition: release the trip button and press it again briefly. Turn off the ignition. This will reset the oil light. To reset the inspection, press the trip button again, turn on the ignition, press the trip button once more, and the message "Do you want to reset the inspection?" will appear. Confirm with "yes" and it’s done. The pressing times should be 2-3 seconds.
