How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Passat?

Model: Volkswagen Passat B8, 3G, MK 8 - Years 2014-2023

You can completely clear the Service light that appears on the instrument cluster of the Volkswagen Passat by holding down the button marked '0.0' located at the centre of the instrument cluster. While holding it down, turn the key to activate the instrument cluster: a message will appear on the menu asking if you want to confirm the reset of the Service light. To confirm, press the button again located at the centre of the instrument cluster. Once the reset is completed, you can turn off the instrument cluster by removing the key.
