How do you reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Passat?

The Service light on the dashboard of the Volkswagen Passat can be eliminated by pressing and holding the button with the "0.0" label located in the center of the dashboard. While holding it down, you need to turn the key to turn on the dashboard: a message will appear in the menu asking if you want to confirm the reset of the Service. To confirm, you must press the button in the center of the dashboard again. Once the reset is complete, you can verify that the process was successful by turning the dashboard off and then on again.
