In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the fuel filter on a Volkswagen Transporter van, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is sufficiently cool for safe operation, then open the bonnet and remove the upper plastic cover. Next, disconnect both the sensor connector and the upper hose of the coolant reservoir, unscrew the two securing screws, and move the reservoir to the side. At this point, disconnect the hoses from the filter, remove it by loosening the clamp, install the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
