By holding down the button located immediately below the instrument panel on the central right side marked 0.0/SET and then turning the key to power on the instrument panel, you can begin the reset of the Service light on the Volkswagen Polo. After performing these two actions, wait a few seconds while releasing the button, noting that the spanner light will be active: then press the other button in the centre of the instrument panel, and the Service light will be cleared from the instrument panel.

You can now completely turn off the instrument panel by removing the key from the ignition.
