To reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Polo, turn on the ignition and then press the button to the left of the instrument cluster four times: this will cause the message on the instrument cluster to start flashing, and you must hold down the button on the right. At the same time, switch off and then switch on the ignition again, releasing the right button and pressing the button to the left of the cluster once. This way, you will see that the Service light has been successfully reset, disappearing from the instrument cluster.
