How to remove the window switch panel of a Volkswagen Golf Mk7? Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine compartment. Use a lever to pry at the bottom of the handle on the door panel, then detach the piece and begin unscrewing the door screws. Using a plastic lever, disengage all the clips by prying around the entire perimeter of the door. Finally, pull away the panel with your hands, (disconnect the opening lever cable, the window regulator connectors, and the speaker connectors). Remove the window switch panel from the door panel, install the new piece, and proceed to reassemble the door.
