How to Replace Dipped Beam Bulbs on VW Golf 6

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 6, Golf VI, Golf 6, 5K1 - Years 2008-2012

Replace the blown bulbs on a VW Golf 6 by following these steps. Open the front bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it with the prop. Use a socket spanner to remove the bolts on the front headlamp (if you prefer not to remove the headlamp, access it from behind). Once the bolts are removed, take the headlamp out of its housing; disconnect the bulb holders with the metal clips and fit the new bulbs. Refit the previously removed headlamp into the front bumper (using the appropriate socket spanner) along with the necessary parts. Check if the bulbs are working.
