Removing the Door Panel on a VW Jetta

Is the door panel damaged? Here’s how to replace it on a Volkswagen Jetta. Use a screwdriver to remove the plastic cover from the handle and unscrew the screws underneath. Unscrew the screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Remove the panel from the door (disconnect the wiring harness and the opening cable). Fit the new panel onto the door, reconnect the power connectors and the opening cable. Screw all the retaining screws back in and finally, refit the handle cover.
