To remove the front handle of the Jetta MK6, start by removing the plastic cover on the door. You can find the new handle on eBay with the code 406929289869 for £17.50, with free delivery. Using a Torx T15 screwdriver, loosen the fixing screw (while pulling the handle). Remove the locking mechanism and slide the handle out. Disconnect the cable: using a flat screwdriver, lift the black clip and pull the cable. For reassembly, reconnect the cable (pressing until it clicks). Insert the handle, mount the locking mechanism, and tighten the T15 screw (the handle will lock itself). Refit the cover.
