In this tutorial we can see how to replace the external rear handle on the Volkswagen Jetta, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we open the door on which we will be working, then we unclip the plastic cover on the inner edge and remove the cap at the height of the handle. We then loosen the bolt that has just been released with a Torx T20 key, being careful not to drop it, extract the lock cylinder and, pulling it towards the rear side of the vehicle, separate the handle from the door. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
