Replacing the Battery in a Volkswagen Golf

To replace the battery in a Volkswagen Golf, position your car on a flat surface or on a ramp to ensure the operator's safety while working. Next, open the bonnet and locate the battery. Disconnect the negative terminal first by connecting the positive terminal to 'earth' and unscrewing the bolt that secures the negative connection. After that, disconnect the positive terminal. Also, unscrew the bolt that secures the battery in place, allowing you to remove it. Place the new battery in the housing and secure it by tightening the appropriate bolt. Connect the cables to both terminals, starting with the positive one (which is also connected to earth), and you're done!
