How to Replace the Key Battery of a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

Start by pressing the button located on the back of the key fob for your Volkswagen Golf to open the physical key. Then, using a flathead screwdriver, prise off and remove the front section of the key. Once you have removed the front section, you will have access to the flat battery. Proceed to extract the battery from the key, and you will have completed the disassembly. To fit the new battery and close the key of your Volkswagen Golf, follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
