Today, we will explain how to replace the battery in the key of a Volkswagen Golf model mk6. To replace the key battery, push the battery cover to remove it; you can use a small screwdriver to help lever it off. Once the cover is removed, take out the old battery and insert the new one. Finally, complete the replacement by closing the remote cover.

Go near the vehicle to check the remote's functionality; if it does not work, reprogramming may be necessary.
