Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Golf
Golf 5, MK 5, Golf V
- Years 2003-2008 Let's see the disassembly of the key of a Golf 5 for the replacement of the operating battery. We press the release button of the metal key, we go with the help of a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key (in the space where the metal key goes to house). We pry until the cover separates, then, we separate the plastics again and extract the worn battery with a small screwdriver. We replace the dead battery with a new one of the same size and voltage. We close the plastic of the key and join the two pieces. We verify the correct assembly of the key.
