Volkswagen Golf - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Golf
Golf 7, MK 7, Golf VII
- Years 2012-2019 Let's start by pressing the button located on the upper side of the electric key of our Volkswagen Golf, thus opening the physical key. Subsequently, using a thin but strong tool and prying, we will have to disengage and remove the back side of the key. Once this is done, we will have reached the dead key battery. We then proceed by going to extract the battery, and the disassembly will be concluded. To mount the new battery and close the key, we will simply have to follow these steps in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
