How to Replace the Key Battery of a Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

Start by pressing the button located on the top side of the electric key of your Volkswagen Golf, which will open the physical key. Next, using a thin but sturdy tool and applying leverage, unclip and remove the back of the key. Once done, you will have access to the flat battery of the key. Proceed to extract the battery, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new battery and close the key, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
