This video tutorial shows the procedure for changing the battery in the key of the Volkswagen Golf 7. The battery to be inserted into the key is a CR2025. The only tool required is a flathead screwdriver to lever out the battery from the key. The key can be opened and closed with your fingers, pressing to close and pulling to open.

The procedure takes less than a minute to complete and is very simple.

If the key battery is flat, this video will guide you through changing it.
