Replacing the Diesel Filter on Volkswagen Touareg

Model: Volkswagen Touareg MK 2, 7P - Years 2010-2018
Part: Diesel fuel filter

Lift the bonnet and unscrew the T25 Torx screws that secure the diesel filter. Ensure that you cover the area around the filter with rags, as some diesel will spill out of the filter housing. After unscrewing the Torx screws, lift the cover. Using pliers, remove the filter from the housing and place it in a container. At this point, you can either clean the diesel filter with a suitable product or install the new filter, following the reverse procedure. Refit the Torx screws that secure the cover and the filter pipes, and you're done.
