Before you start, open the front door of your Volkswagen Golf. Begin by prising out and removing the door switch panel using thin but sturdy tools. Next, disconnect the various electrical connectors. This will give you access to the back of the window switch buttons. Proceed to unclip the retaining clips, then disengage and remove the buttons themselves to complete the disassembly. To fit the new buttons, simply follow these steps in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
