Replacement of the Rear-View Mirror

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010
Part: Side mirror

Gently remove the base where the mirror was attached by disconnecting the wires from the electric motor. Next, remove the upper plastic part by working on the locking clips; repeat the same operation for the front cover. Unscrew the securing screws to remove the lower part, and from it, remove the indicator block. Reattach it to the replacement part, remembering to reconnect the wires, then reposition the replacement part on the mirror frame, securing it with the screws. Reattach both the cover and the upper part of the mirror with the clips. Snap the mirror back onto the appropriate support.
