Today, follow the steps to remove and replace the third brake light or its bulbs on a seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf; this procedure can be applied to many other vehicles with the same system. To remove the third brake light, simply lever it off from the sides; use something thin and pointed to detach it, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect its electrical connector and the black tube to remove it completely; if necessary, replace the bulbs or the third brake light and reassemble everything!
