The operation to replace the timing belt on a car is quite complex, let's see below to summarize the main steps: first open the bonnet and lift the car, then remove the negative pole of the battery, the upper cover of the sound-absorbing engine, the diesel filter, the coolant reservoir, the right engine support and the right front wheel and the inner wheel arch, then remove the panel under the engine and the timing cover. Then proceed to disassemble the service belt by loosening the belt tensioner pulley and removing the tensioner, insert the locking pins on the camshafts and on the crankshaft to ensure and maintain the synchronism of the engine itself, then remove the crankshaft pulley, loosen the belt tensioner and remove the belt.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308

If we need to change the time on this car we can follow the instructions given in this video tutorial and read the instructions below. First of all, access the driver's seat and turn on the ignition.
