This tutorial shows you how to replace the battery in the key fob of a Volkswagen. Take the key fob and press the button to release the metal key inside. Next, pry open the plastic casing from the side with the key until you remove the battery cover. Inside the fob, you will find a flat battery type CR 2035-DI 2025 rated at 3V; proceed to replace it and close the plastic casing by pressing it back together to secure it in the cover.
